State employees in UP who fail to declare their assets will not receive their September salary. Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh has issued an order to all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Department Heads, mandating that only those who declare their assets on the 'Manav Sampada Portal' will be paid their September salary. The last date for asset declaration is September 30.

Responsibility Fixed on Corresponding DDO Alongside Employees

The Yogi government may also take strict action against the concerned DDO (Drawing and Disbursing Officer) regarding the salary of government employees who do not provide asset details. Only a week remains before the last date for asset declaration. The Chief Secretary's order clearly states that only employees who declare their assets on the 'Manav Sampada Portal' will be paid their September salary. The review responsibility was also assigned to the DDOs, holding them accountable.

UP's Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh has issued a clear order stating that all employees must provide details of their movable and immovable properties. According to the Chief Secretary, as of September 12, 7,19,807 out of 8,44,374 state employees had provided their details. Sources indicate that about 90 percent of the employees have submitted their asset details so far.

Time Extended by One Month on Employees' Request

The UP government has issued an order making asset declaration mandatory for all employees. Employees must upload details of their movable and immovable properties on the 'Manav Sampada Portal'. The original deadline was August 31. Following employees' requests, the deadline was extended by one month to September 30.

Before the final date, the Chief Secretary has written to department heads to release the salary of only those employees who submit asset details. The review responsibility of this task was assigned to the concerned DDO. If employees fail to upload their asset details, the salary of the concerned DDO will also be withheld.
