In Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, a man murdered his wife and fled the scene. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived, took the body into custody for a post-mortem, and began their investigation. It is reported that the suspect first brutally beat his wife and then strangled her to death. Police are conducting raids in various locations to apprehend the suspect. This incident has stirred panic in the area.
This event occurred in Gulriha village of Maurawa Police Station area. It is said that the accused, Suresh, had an illicit relationship with another woman. Due to this, he frequently beat his wife. On Thursday night, the accused came home, sent the children out of the room, and beat his wife severely before strangling her to death. The deceased has two daughters and one son, and they had been married for 18 years. For the past two years, Suresh had been tormenting his wife Arti due to his illicit relationship.

The deceased woman's cousin, Vijay Kumar, reported that his niece called him and said that her father had killed her mother and left. When he arrived, his sister was lying on the ground, with blood coming out of her nose. A rod was lying nearby, and there was a black mark on her neck. The brother-in-law was involved with another woman. He came home at night, sent the children outside, and killed his sister.
The Accused is Absconding After the Murder
Regarding this matter, CO Purwa Somonendra Vishwas stated that they received information that Gangaram's niece Arti was strangled to death by her husband Suresh Gupta in Maurawa Police Station area. Police immediately arrived at the scene, took the body into custody, and sent it for post-mortem. The accused is absconding but will be arrested soon.
