Chaos broke out at a private hospital in Nagda, Ujjain when a young man suddenly suffered a heart attack during a routine check-up in the outpatient department. While sitting in the hospital chair, he collapsed, his heartbeat stopped. But thanks to the swift actions of the doctors and staff, his life was saved. According to sources, 30-year-old Sunny Gehlot from village Rupeta visited Chaudhary Hospital & Research Center in Nagda after experiencing chest pain. As doctors were assessing his blood pressure, he suddenly fainted and collapsed. Upon immediate examination, doctors found no pulse or blood pressure. Assessing the situation, doctors quickly initiated CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and electric shock therapy.
CPR Administered for 40 Minutes, 12 Electric Shocks Given
Dr. Sunil Chaudhary explained that Sunny was moved to the ICU, where CPR was administered for 40 minutes, along with 12 electric shocks. Eventually, the doctors' efforts paid off, and his heartbeat was restored. After initial treatment, he was referred to Indore for further medical attention. The entire ordeal was recorded by CCTV cameras in the hospital's OPD. The footage vividly shows how he fell from the chair and how the doctors promptly began CPR without any delay.
