A video of Trump's statement was shared by the party on their social handles, in which he can be heard saying, "I spoke to Tim Cook. I told him I do not want Apple to manufacture in India. India can take care of themselves." The statement was made during a press conference in Doha, Qatar, drawing questions from the opposition Congress.
On Congress’s ex-handle, it is noted, "This statement regarding Apple by US President Donald Trump was made in Qatar. Where is the Modi government, and will the Prime Minister condemn this statement? Previously, Trump attacked our sovereignty, even suggesting that India had agreed to a ceasefire for trade. Now he seems to be eyeing our investments. The Modi government should issue a statement to clarify its position."

Kangana Ranaut - Trump Jealous of PM Modi?
Reactions have also come from BJP MP Kangana Ranaut. She believes that Trump is genuinely "jealous" of Prime Minister Modi. She commented, "While he is indeed the President of America, PM Modi is the world's most beloved leader." Recently, Trump made some remarks about a trade deal with India, suggesting he told Apple not to manufacture there.
