Pakistani Beggars:
Following Operation Sindhur by India, Pakistan, known for compensating millions to 'terrorists,' faces shame globally due to its beggars. A report reveals that Saudi Arabia has deported over 5,000 Pakistani beggars in the last 16 months. Saudi Arabia isn't alone; countries like Iraq, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, and Oman have also expelled a significant number of begging Pakistanis. This revelation comes directly from a Pakistani minister.
On Wednesday, in a written response to a question posed by Pakistan People's Party (PPP) MNA Sehar Kamran, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi shared statistics on Pakistani beggars deported from various countries. He reported that in the last 16 months, Saudi Arabia has deported 5,033 Pakistani beggars, while 369 were apprehended for begging in five countries.

In the National Assembly, Minister Mohsin Naqvi revealed that since January 2024, 5,402 Pakistanis have been deported from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE. In 2024, a total of 4,850 Pakistanis were expelled from these countries, with the majority, 4,498, from Saudi Arabia and 242 from Iraq. Malaysia and the UAE deported 55 and 49 beggars, respectively, in smaller numbers.
This trend continues in 2025. According to the minister, in the last four months, 552 Pakistanis have been sent home, with 535 from Saudi Arabia, 9 from the UAE, and 5 from Iraq. Although data for the past three years was requested, the minister provided statistics only from January 2024 to April, covering just 16 months.

Pilgrimage Mask Used for Begging Abroad
Reports suggest that many Pakistanis travel to Saudi Arabia under the guise of participating in Umrah pilgrimages but resort to begging once there. A news report noted that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) recently intercepted three female beggars attempting to board a flight to Saudi Arabia.
