In the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India's Operation Sindoor has crippled terrorist networks anchored in Pakistan. Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir are relentless in rooting out terrorism. A hit list of terrorists was issued, resulting in six being neutralized so far.

Following the elimination of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists, an operation in Tral led to the successful thwarting of Jaish-e-Mohammed operatives. From a hit list of 14, six terrorists have now been dispatched. These local collaborators had been bolstering the infrastructure of Pakistani insurgents, aiding them with logistics and shelter.

In recent encounters, terrorists numbered 9, 3, 11, 5, 6, and 2 were neutralized during operations in Shopian and Pulwama.

The names of terrorists neutralized in Shopian include Shahid Kutte, Adnan Shafi, and Ahsan-ul-Haq Sheikh, while in Pulwama, Amir Nazir Wani, Yawar Ehsan Butt, and Asif Ahmad Sheikh were eliminated.

Terrorist Number- 1

Adil Rehman Dentu, commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Sopore, active since 2021. Authorities seek to capture or neutralize him, and consequences loom for his abodes.

Zubair Ahmad Wani, the operational commander of Hizbul Mujahideen in Anantnag, is an A+ category terrorist known for aiding terrorists, with a notorious reputation since 2018.

Haroon Rashid Gani, an active Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist in Anantnag, wanted by security forces. Previously trained in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Terrorist Number- 14

Zubair Ahmad Gani, a senior terrorist from Kulgam, affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and involved in The Resistant Front operations.
