: On January 20, Donald Trump is set to take the oath as the 47th President of the United States. Preparations are in full swing, and excitement buzzes across America as Trump resumes presidency. In a ground report, we explored the views of the Indian community in the US about Trump.

What does Trump's presidency mean for Indian Americans? In response, a long-time Indian-American resident expressed that it seems the Hindu community has awakened and voted for Trump. Indian doctors, engineers, and IT professionals have made significant contributions to the US economy. We hope for continued strong ties between India and the US.

Donald Trump previously tweeted about the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, condemning them. Responding to this, an Indian-American in the US highlighted Trump's clear stance against these attacks, emphasizing his affection for Hindus. Many Hindu organizations in America supported Trump with their votes.

Another Indian American pointed out that Trump, being a businessman, understands commerce well and gives due importance to US-India relations. As the US economy grows, it simultaneously benefits India's economy. This moment represents great opportunities for Indian IT professionals.

An Indian-American resident of 30 years mentioned that Trump's presidency sends a positive message for India. As a Sikh, he emphasized that individuals like Pannun, who have tarnished the Sikh community's image, do not represent it. Sikhs should not be defined by such individuals.

Notably, Donald Trump will be sworn in as the US President for a second term. The inauguration ceremony will be held within Capitol Hill due to the severe cold.

Jaishankar, along with Reliance Group's Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani, will participate. China's Vice President Han Zheng, Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Argentina's President Javier Milei, Ecuador's President Daniel Noboa, El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele, Brazil's former President Jair Bolsonaro, Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Poland's former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, and Britain's Reform Party leader Nigel Farage will also attend. Former US Presidents Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and George W. Bush will be present as well.
