An alarming incident of murder emerges from the Sonipat district of Haryana, where a transporter doing business was brutally killed. In the assault, his nephew miraculously survived. Upon receiving news of the incident, police quickly arrived at the scene, securing the body for autopsy and initiating an investigation. The injured nephew has been admitted to a hospital based on his complaint, triggering a formal probe into both the murder and attempted murder.
It is reported that the uncle and nephew were riding a scooter to pick up food from a hotel located in Delhi's Narela. On their journey, they were ambushed by four assailants, resulting in the uncle, Amarjeet alias Monu, being fatally wounded and the nephew, Harish, suffering serious injuries.
Shocking Assault Leads to Transporter's Death
Injured Harish recounted to the police that while he and his uncle were en route to the hotel for food, they came across a vehicle. Inside were Golu, Aashish alias Bali, Mukesh alias Sittu from Ladravan village, and a friend of Sittu. Recognizing the uncle as a fellow transporter, Golu called them over. An altercation ensued, with the men in the car hurling insults and threats at the uncle.
As Harish attempted to drive away with his uncle, Golu signaled Sittu to open fire. Sittu stepped out of the car and started shooting. Harish narrowly escaped a bullet near his ear, while his uncle was hit in the abdomen, causing severe injuries. Somehow, Harish managed to get his uncle to the hospital, where he was later transferred to a district facility. There, unfortunately, his uncle succumbed to his wounds.
Murder Charges Filed Against Four Suspects
Sonipat Police PRO Ravinder Kumar informed that Harish from the village of Saboli has lodged a complaint regarding an unprovoked attack on them by locals. Police have since registered a case of murder and attempted murder against Golu, Mukesh alias Sittu, Aashish alias Bali, and others. An active investigation is underway with the aim of making swift arrests.
