Fifteen Trainee Forest Officers Injured in Bee Swarm Attack

In Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, a sudden bee attack left 15 trainee forest officers injured, with four reported in critical condition. This incident occurred during their visit to the Jhiri nursery in Rajapur village.

A chaotic scene unfolded as the attacks began, causing the trainees and their companions to flee in all directions. They managed to escape the swarm by covering themselves with blankets.

Recognizing the serious situation, more than half a dozen people were rushed to the Madihan community health center using private vehicles and ambulances for immediate treatment. Those severely injured were admitted to the district hospital for further care.

On Monday, a group of 54 trainee forest officers from Kanpur were touring the Jhiri nursery when the bee attack occurred, sparking panic among the visitors. While scurrying for safety, 15 of these forest trainees unfortunately sustained injuries from bee stings.

Following the incident, Divisional Forest Officer Arvind Raj Mishra visited the site and confirmed that the team had come for training from Kanpur. During the tour, 15 individuals were injured due to the bee attack and were hospitalized, but they have since been released after receiving necessary treatment.

The injured individuals notably include Vivek Kumar, Lakshdeep Singh, Sandeep Singh, Abhishek Kumar, Amit Kumar, Rajendra Prasad, Amit Kumar, Sujit Singh, Sushil Kumar, Ram Singh Yadav, Navdeep, Vivek, Rajendra Prasad, and Ashish Mishra.
