After orchestrating the murder, Tauseef Badshah reportedly retreated with family towards Gaya before migrating solo to West Bengal. Crucial intel surfaced during interrogations with Tauseef's kin, hinting his contacts span across several West Bengal cities. Previous visits include Asansol and Kolkata.
Notably, infamous criminal from Buxar, Chandan Mishra, was fatally shot inside Patna's Paras Hospital. Five armed men stormed in, unleashing a volley of gunfire ending Mishra's life. The incident propagated panic citywide, spurring continuous raids in pursuit of justice.
ADG Kundan Krishna had previously stated on Friday, attributing Chandan's murder to Sheru Singh's operatives. Currently detained at West Bengal's Purulia Jail, Sheru had a prior criminal alliance with Chandan, fractured over a murder fallout years back, leading to sustained enmity.
