An unsettling case of couple suicide has surfaced in Uttar Pradesh. Harish from Patna and Sanchita from Gorakhpur, who had cherished each other since their school days, ended their lives in tragedy. Following a few years of marriage, Harish took his own life by hanging in Varanasi on a Sunday, and Sanchita, shocked by her husband's death, leapt from the rooftop of her father's house.
The couple's demise has plunged both families into deep mourning. According to the police, Harish Baghesh from Patna and Sanchita Srivastava from Gorakhpur were schoolmates in Varanasi where their romance blossomed in the 11th grade, eventually leading to marriage. Post-marriage, the pair settled in Mumbai, where Harish worked in a private bank after completing his MBA.

When Sanchita's health deteriorated, her father, a renowned doctor from Gorakhpur, Dr. Ramcharan Das, brought her back to their hometown for treatment. Harish quit his bank job to care for his wife, residing with his in-laws for the past several months.
During this period, Harish sought employment tirelessly but faced continual rejection. It's said that two days prior to the tragic event, Harish left his in-laws' home stating he was returning to Patna, but instead traveled to Varanasi. After not responding to family calls, they found him in a homestay room in Sarnath, hanged.
As the news reached Gorakhpur, Dr. Ramcharan Das set out for Varanasi. Meanwhile, unable to bear the news of her husband's death, Sanchita took her life by jumping from the roof. The Sarnath police identified Harish's body through the Aadhar card found on him. Police have dispatched the body for an autopsy but found no suicide note at the scene. Initial investigations suggest that job loss led Harish into depression and substance abuse. Police are diligently investigating the case.
