In Ballia, a shocking incident of romance gone wrong has come to light. Upon declining to marry, a woman, along with her brother, conspired to attack her lover with a flammable substance, causing severe burns. The young man tragically passed away on Wednesday during treatment.
A Deadly Acid Assault on the Lover
Rajkumar, from the village of Hussainabad in the Bansdih area of Ballia, was assaulted with a flammable substance on September 4th. It is alleged that his girlfriend from the Maniar area and her brother masterminded this attack.
Rajkumar, severely burned from the attack, was initially taken to the district hospital and then referred to Varanasi for advanced treatment. However, he eventually returned to Ballia for further care, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Family's Allegations
Rajkumar's family claims that discussions were underway regarding his marriage to his girlfriend, but he was not willing to commit. In retaliation, the woman, with the help of her brother, orchestrated the acid attack.
Following the young man's demise, his family sought justice from the district magistrate's office. The police have registered a case based on the family's report and are diligently investigating the matter. According to authorities, the incident emerged due to a dispute over marriage intentions. The woman's brother allegedly lured the victim through a phone call to enact their cruel plan.
