Closed roads compel sightseers to trek on foot for up to 15 kilometers.

The administration has managed to partially reopen the road from Patlikuhal to Rangdi for four-wheel drives, albeit in single lanes. Despite the heavy snowfall, Manali's hotels enjoy an 80-90% occupancy rate, with some places overbooked until the end of January.

Challenges for Administration
