The Inspiration to Create Sunita Williams’ Statue Sparked After Her Return from Space
Sushanta Roy revealed that the idea to create this statue was inspired post Sunita Williams’ return from space. He expressed, "Sunita Williams is a national pride. Her life will inspire new generations towards science and space exploration."
The creation of this wax statue spanned nearly two months, although typically a statue is completed in a month and a half. Sushanta explained, "The main challenge was obtaining Sunita's space attire. An authentic suit was brought from America, costing approximately 10,000 INR. This was made possible with the help of the Jaipur Wax Museum director."
