Police have arrested four more suspects involved in the Sultanpur loot case. They recovered nearly 20 million rupees worth of jewelry stolen from a jewelry shop. According to sources, during interrogation, the suspects revealed that the conspiracy for the incident was planned in room number 404 of the ITI Colony in Raebareli district.

It is said that Vipin Singh from Amethi, the mastermind of the loot, stayed in this room with his accomplices for about a month. The loot division also took place in this room, number 404.

After this revelation, local residents reported that a few young men stayed there but didn't interact much with anyone. They came and went in a four-wheeler. Recently, the police came, searched the room, and left the neighborhood in shock. They couldn't believe such a significant crime had connections to their colony.

Police Action Continues

Following the Sultanpur incident, on September 3, Pushpendra Singh, Sachin Singh, and Tribhuvan were arrested during an encounter. On September 5, Mangesh Yadav from Jaunpur was shot down by the STF in another encounter. Now, the police have achieved another major success. Durgesh, Arvind, Vivek, and Vinay Shukla have been arrested. They were found with nearly 20 million rupees worth of gold jewelry, modern weapons, and several other items.

Notably, Vipin Singh, the mastermind, had surrendered at Raebareli Court, after which the Sultanpur police took him on five days' remand. According to the police, Vipin's information led to the arrest of these four suspects.

It is worth noting that on August 28, five criminals on two motorcycles carried out a robbery at Bharat Ji Soni's jewelry shop in the Thatheri market area of Sultanpur. The police have accused more than a dozen people in this case.

Meanwhile, the Human Rights Commission has taken note of the Mangesh Yadav encounter case. The State Human Rights Commission has ordered an investigation into the matter. The commission has instructed the District Magistrate of Sultanpur to investigate and submit a report by September 27. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for September 30.
