In Ayodhya, the construction of the peak of the Ram Temple will commence in October. Preparations for the Ram Darbar on the first floor are also complete. Soon, visitors will be able to see the Ram Darbar in the temple. A two-day meeting of the Shri Ram Temple Construction Committee discussed these topics on its first day.
The work on completing the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is progressing rapidly. However, the construction will take about two months longer than the proposed timeline. Various subjects were deliberated in the review meeting of the Ram Temple Construction Committee.
In a meeting with Chairman Nripendra Mishra of the Temple Construction Committee and General Secretary Champat Rai from Shri Ram Temple Trust alongside technical experts, all construction aspects were discussed. It was also decided that the construction of the temple's peak will start in October. Experts from all construction agencies will be present at the start of the construction.
The temple being constructed in Ayodhya follows the Nagar style, and therefore, its peak will follow the same style. A unique pyramid-shaped design is being prepared. IIT experts, scientists from the Central Building Research Institute, experts from the construction agency Larsen and Toubro, and experts from the National Geophysical Research Institute will be present when construction starts in October. Committee members from the Ram Temple Construction Committee will also be there.
Constructing the peak of any temple is technically the most challenging. The peak of the Ram Temple will be constructed, keeping in mind its unique features, ensuring both its strength and beauty.
Ram Darbar to be Completed Before Holi
Visitors to the Ram Temple will soon be able to see the Ram Darbar as well. Before Holi next year, the Ram Darbar will be set up on the first floor. This was also discussed in the meeting.
Chairman Nripendra Mishra from the Ram Temple Construction Committee informed that the design for the Ram Darbar is complete. The Ram Darbar will be made of marble. It will feature statues of Ram, Sita, his three brothers, and Hanuman. Sculptor Vasudev Kamath has approved the design, and the Ram Darbar will be established before Holi next year.
However, the entire construction of the temple building will take two months longer than the scheduled time. Work on the temple's parapet and Sapt Mandap continues. Besides the main building, landscaping work is also being carried out. The construction of the ground floor is complete, and approximately 90 percent of the first floor has been finished.
