This incident unfolded in the village of Sonwa Tara, within the jurisdiction of Gosainganj. Akhil, the 5-year-old son of Dharmendra, vanished while playing on Wednesday, leaving his family frantic with worry. Despite an exhaustive search, he remained unaccounted for, which led the family to file a missing person report at the Gosainganj police station.

Both the police and the family were actively searching for the child. On Thursday morning, during their search in a dilapidated old house not far from home, they were shocked to discover Akhil's lifeless body. Alarmed, they immediately alerted the police, who arrived swiftly to retrieve the body, which bore various injuries, indicating that Akhil was murdered and then hidden in the abandoned building.

The body has been sent for post-mortem to shed more light on the cause of death. Meanwhile, a suspect from the village remains in custody for questioning. Initially, the case appears to be a murder, but the final conclusions will rely on the post-mortem report.
