In a harrowing event in Sikar, Rajasthan, an individual tragically ended his own life by shooting himself in his car. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and initiated an official investigation. The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Ajit Singh, who worked as a Senior Assistant in the Women and Child Development Department. Around 10 a.m. on Friday, he took the distressing step in his vehicle.
Following the incident, there was chaos in the area. Ajit Singh's blood-soaked body was discovered by locals inside a car on the Jaipur-Bikaner bypass. Police recovered a pistol and the deceased's ID card at the scene, which helped to confirm his identity.
A young man commits suicide by shooting himself in the head
Indraj Marodia, Station House Officer of Sadar, reported that a man on the Jaipur-Bikaner bypass near Shyampura Chauraha had shot himself. Arriving officers found the man alive, pistol in hand, and rushed him to the hospital via ambulance, but he sadly passed away shortly thereafter.
Police commence thorough investigation
During the investigation, police discovered the deceased's name to be Ajit Singh, a resident of Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur. His family was notified following the incident. A suicide note was also found at the scene in which he cited financial difficulties as the reason for his suicide, and sought forgiveness from all his acquaintances and family members. The deceased was a public servant who ended his life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the temple.
