ICC ODI Rankings:

India's cricket superstar Virat Kohli has made a remarkable comeback into the top 5 in the latest One Day International (ODI) rankings by the International Cricket Council (ICC). On February 23rd, Kohli delivered an extraordinary performance with his 51st ODI century against Pakistan at the ICC Champions Trophy in Dubai, propelling him to fifth place overall with a one-position gain.

This triumphant ascent means three Indian players have now entered the top 5. Opening batsman Shubman Gill (first position) and captain Rohit Sharma (third position) continue to shine, maintaining their formidable status in the batting rankings owing to their stellar performances at the Champions Trophy. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav ranks as the number 3 ODI bowler.

Gill has stretched his lead at the top by 47 rating points, a commanding advantage, while Pakistan's former captain Babar Azam clings to second place despite an underwhelming display so far.

In the latest rankings update released by ICC on Wednesday, Kohli is the only player to break into the top 10 list of ODI batters from the Champions Trophy, while several have slipped out of the top bracket.
