Representing Asansol Lok Sabha, TMC MP Shatrughan Sinha counts himself lucky to receive a generous amount from the PM National Relief Fund. He mentioned a scarcity of MPs so favoured with such significant funding. Expressing his gratitude, he thanked both PM Modi and the government. On being questioned about Rahul Gandhi regarding an Election Commission advisory, he chose to respond with silence.

At the Circuit House in Asansol, TMC called a press conference, where MPH Sinha released a booklet detailing the development works undertaken in his parliamentary area over the last two years. This included an elaborate list of progress works and high praise for Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee.

'Gratitude to PM Modi and the Government'

In the meantime, he conveyed his thanks to PM Modi and the government for the financial aid of INR 1 crore 10 lakh 50 thousand 977 granted by the PM National Relief Fund. He also acclaimed his fate as better compared to his fellow MPs, stating that very few have received such a large sum from the fund.

MP Sinha also showcased in his development plan booklet the details of the beneficiaries and the respective amounts they received from the PM's relief fund donation. When probed about Rahul Gandhi in light of the Election Commissioner's warning during the press conference, his only reply was 'Silence'.

It's noteworthy that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi received an advisory from the Election Commission the previous day. Within which, he was cautioned to speak with greater caution and awareness, especially after considering the statements directed against the Prime Minister, the Delhi High Court's orders, and Rahul Gandhi's own response.
