'How can those who betray be considered Hindus?'

Referring to Uddhav Thackeray's ousting from the Chief Minister's position, Shankaracharya questioned the moral principles of those involved in the political betrayal, asserting it's evident to Maharashtrians. He emphasized that trust is central to Hindu beliefs, and those who betray cannot lay claim to Hinduism.

He further claimed that victims of betrayal symbolize true adherence to Hindu values, contrasting the actions of those who deceive. The people of Maharashtra recognize and empathize with the trust that was broken with Uddhav Thackeray and collectively feel its impact.

Additionally, Shankaracharya highlighted an incident of 228 kilograms of gold going missing from Kedarnath, with no subsequent investigation. He questioned the intent behind replicating Kedarnath in Delhi and warned against potential malpractice.

'Politics intrudes upon our realms of faith...'

Shankaracharya went on to discuss the significance of the 12 Jyotirlingas in Hinduism, asserting Kedarnath's unique place in the Himalayas cannot be relocated to Delhi. He advised that while one can worship and establish shrines in any of God's thousand names, a replication of Kedarnath should not exist in Delhi.

He raised concerns about political figures encroaching upon sacred religious places.

Regarding his rapport with Prime Minister Modi, Shankaracharya said, "We've blessed Modi Ji; we are not adversaries. When he veers off the right path, we make it our duty to clarify the right direction."
