A wave of panic engulfed Ara on Friday morning as the bodies of a father and son were discovered beside the road near Belghat village. The deceased have been identified as Pramod Mahto and his son Priyanshu Mahto. They were originally from Kasap village under Udwantnagar police jurisdiction but had recently settled in Pienia village.

By Friday morning, villagers found their bodies by the roadside near Belghat village, sparking widespread commotion.
Upon receiving the report, Muffasil police arrived at the scene and took the bodies for post-mortem examination. Initial inquiries confirm that both were shot. Police have retrieved several empty cartridges from the crime scene.
