Following Punjab and Delhi, the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have decided to walk separate paths in Haryana too. Former Chief Minister of Haryana, Bhupinder Singh Hooda affirms that there will be no coalition with the AAP for the upcoming state assembly elections.

Hooda emphasized that they are set to contest the forthcoming assembly elections on their own strength. He also commented on the inclusion of two Haryana ministers in the Modi cabinet, specifically Manohar Lal Khattar, stating that their performance as cabinet ministers remains to be seen.

It's worth mentioning that a few days ago, AAP's Haryana unit vice-president, Anurag Dhanda had also stated that the alliance with Congress was only for the Lok Sabha elections. He announced that AAP would contend for all 90 seats in this year's state assembly elections in Haryana.

Similarly, AAP has confirmed their go-it-alone strategy for the assembly elections in Delhi as well. Delhi Minister Gopal Rai confirmed on June 6 that their alliance with Congress was solely for the Lok Sabha elections and would not extend to the Delhi assembly elections scheduled for 2025. The decision was taken during a meeting with party MLAs at the Chief Minister's residence on Thursday.
