In 2013, she vanished unannounced from the college and by 2021, her services were terminated. Investigative agencies are now meticulously examining her past records, contacts, and activities.

Who is Dr. Shaheen Siddiqui?

The seizure operation took place early Tuesday morning at Kanpur Medical College. Dr. Shaheen served as an assistant professor at GSVM Medical College. Her mysterious disappearance in 2013 led the state government to request documents related to her tenure. Dr. Shaheen's appointment was through the Public Service Commission.

Services Terminated in 2021

After verifying the records, the state government concluded her services in 2021. According to the college principal, Dr. Shaheen was transferred to Kannauj Government Medical College for six months between 2009 and 2010. About 25 years ago, she completed her medical studies from Allahabad (now Prayagraj).

A Personal Life Full of Controversies

Reports suggest Dr. Shaheen's personal life has been mired in controversy. She is the second child among two brothers, Shoaib and Parvez, and a sister. Sources indicate her marriage to Zafar Hayat from Maharashtra ended in a contentious divorce in 2015.

Post-divorce, she relocated to Faridabad after leaving her job in Kanpur. Following the separation, she lived in Lucknow, where for some time, her whereabouts were unknown. Now, investigators are intensely scrutinizing her earlier connections and engagements.

Dr. Shaheen Siddiqui, formerly of Kanpur Medical College, is alleged to be the India head of the Jaish-e-Mohammad's women wing, 'Jamaat-ul Momineen'. Her name emerged after the arrest of two doctors in Faridabad, accused of running a 'white-collar terror network'.

Joining Kanpur GSVM College in 2006, Shaheen went on an unexplained leave in 2013, subsequent to which her service was officially terminated in 2021. Post-divorce with Zafar Hayat, she moved to Faridabad and allegedly came into contact with terror networks. Notably, a rifle and live cartridges were also found in her car.
