The mystery surrounding the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi and the disappearance of his wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, from Indore in Meghalaya deepens day by day. Sonam has been untraceable for 15 days, with her family persisting in their search in Shillong. Meanwhile, an evocative poster has been displayed at Raja Raghuvanshi’s home on CAT Road, Indore, stating: "Sonam Raghuvanshi's plea, when will she see her home".
Elsewhere, Sonam's brother, Govind Raghuvanshi, tirelessly searches for her in Shillong. The family has appealed to the Meghalaya government for swift action to ensure Sonam's safe return.
Raja Raghuvanshi's brother, Vipin Raghuvanshi, shared that the Shillong administration has thus far focused on the murder aspect and locating the body. However, the family strongly believes Sonam is still alive.
Vipin asserts that Sonam was abducted and suspects it could be linked to human trafficking. He urged authorities to examine the mobile tower's location and all active mobile numbers at the time.
The family suspects the involvement of the guide who accompanied Sonam and Raja, the owner of the shop they lodged at, and possibly others in the incident.
Vipin emphasized that everyone who met Raja and Sonam in Shillong is under suspicion, and the police must formally interrogate them.
The Raghuvanshi family has taken to publicly displaying placards and posters with Sonam's photos, pleading for assistance. Additionally, on the advice of an astrologer, Sonam’s picture has been hung upside-down at the main entrance of their home, hoping for her safety.
