In a tense turn of events in Saran, RJD candidate Rohini Acharya's convoy was met with hostility by an angry mob. Rohini Acharya arrived at the polling stations numbered 118 and 119 in the city of Chhapra, nearly half an hour before the polling ended. According to local claims, Rohini Acharya's approach to the voters was inappropriate, which also involved her supporters. This sparked resistance from the locals, leading to confrontations between Rohini Acharya's supporters and the community. Eventually, Rohini Acharya had to withdraw from the scene due to the visibly agitated crowd.

According to Saran's SP Gaurav Mangala, the polling was conducted safely and the polling party set off for the strongroom after the voting time concluded. SP stated that an investigation is underway concerning the alleged attack on Rohini Acharya's convoy and other disputes.

Local BJP leaders accused Rohini of visiting the booth with Bhola Yadav around 2 PM, with the potential to disrupt the voting process. BJP worker Ramakant Solanki claimed she returned around 5 PM when the situation began deteriorating, which was followed by reports of stone-pelting.

SP Gaurav Mangala claimed that a dispute broke out near a polling station in TelPA. He asserted that the booth was secure and that there was no report of any untoward incident at the booth. He announced that all aspects, including Rohini Acharya's role, will be thoroughly investigated. SP Gaurav Mangala has denied any incident at the polling station.
