The atmosphere was festive in a home preparing for their daughter's wedding. The bride sat with henna on her hands and dreams in her eyes, adorned in a red wedding dress. The family was celebrating with dance and music. The groom’s party arrived on time, and they were warmly received. However, some of the groom's friends and relatives, who were inebriated, kept demanding 'Rasmalai'. When their wishes were not fulfilled, the disagreement escalated to such an extent that the wedding was called off.

This entire incident took place in the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. Here, the dispute between the guests and the bride's family over a trivial matter caused the wedding to initially be canceled. An FIR was filed by the bride's side against four individuals, which eventually led to the wedding proceeding the following day.

The event occurred on Wednesday, June 15. The bride's family had prepared a grand welcome for the groom's party. But the disagreement over Rasmalai became so severe that the groom's party departed without the bride.

Consequently, the happiness of the bride's family was shattered. They filed an FIR against four people at the police station. Following this, on June 16, discussions and reconciliations took place between the bride's and the groom's families. Eventually, the unfinished wedding was completed, and the bride was sent off in grandeur.
