Continual revelations are surfacing in the case of the shooting outside Salman Khan's home. Police from five states are involved in the investigation, led by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch. Sources have disclosed that the plan for the assault was concocted about a month ago in Rajasthan. Shooters had rented a room near Salman's Panvel farmhouse, closely monitoring the premises.

Salman Khan often visits his Panvel farmhouse to spend leisure time with friends and family. There, the shooters waited for the right moment to execute their plan, routinely conducting reconnaissance at Salman's Bandra residence, Galaxy Apartments. Sources suggest that the shooters scouted Galaxy Apartments four times. Previously in 2018, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had also surveyed Galaxy.

At that time, Lawrence had assigned gangster Sampat Nehra to assassinate Salman Khan. Nehra had devised a complete plan but was arrested by the Haryana Police before he could execute the deed, revealing the entire conspiracy during interrogation. This time, the notorious gangster Rohit Godara from the Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the attack, carried out through his henchman, Hritik Boxer.

The Mumbai ATS team interrogated Hritik Boxer in Jaipur after he was previously arrested for a shooting incident at a club in Jaipur last year, where he had demanded extortion fees of five crores from a hotelier. Following a non-payment, he orchestrated a shooting through his men. After the event, police apprehended him.

The police have also detained the owner of the motorcycle used in the crime. Through investigation, it was discovered that the bike was registered to a resident of Raigad district's Pen tehsil. He claimed to have sold the bike some time ago, but how the accused got it and his connection with them remains undisclosed.

After the shooting, the culprits were seen on CCTV heading to the Mount Mary Church in Brandra, leaving the bike, walking some distance, and then taking an auto-rickshaw toward Bandra Railway Station. They boarded a train towards Borivali but disembarked at Santacruz station and left the area. Police are still searching for the auto-rickshaw driver.

Along with this, the police are interrogating several other individuals, recording their statements, and reviewing area CCTV footage. An official mentioned that over a dozen teams are working on the investigation, with some dispatched to Bihar, Rajasthan, and Delhi. CCTV images of the shooters have been released, identifying one shooter as gangster Vishal aka Kalu from Gurugram.

Vishal aka Kalu, who has completed up to grade 10, has more than five criminal cases against him, including firing and bike theft. On Lawrence Bishnoi's orders, he murdered a bookie at a dhaba in Rohtak, Haryana, this February. The incident, caught on CCTV, showed him firing shots. Vishal is associated with gangsters Hritik Box and Rohit Godara, perpetrating crimes on their command.

The Bishnoi gang and Lawrence Bishnoi have repeatedly threatened Salman Khan since 1998, following accusations that Salman hunted a blackbuck during a film shoot in Rajasthan. The Bishnoi community, which reveres the blackbuck as divine and worships it, has opposed Salman. Last year, Lawrence's gang threatened Salman twice via email and phone calls. Earlier in the year, Salman's father Salim Khan received a threatening letter suggesting that Salman would meet the same fate as Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, who was gunned down by the Bishnoi gang months prior. Following this, Salman's security was increased.
