Surgeons Extract 2-3 Inch Sharp Object from Saif's Body
Following a neurosurgery, a two to three-inch sharp object, believed to be a knife fragment, was extracted from Saif's body. Cosmetic surgery is presently underway for him.
In the assault, Saif's house help was also injured, although her injuries are minor. Sources indicate that the burglar might have accessed the house through a duct leading to the bedroom, based on initial investigations.
Lilavati Hospital's COO, Dr. Neeraj Uttamani, stated that an unknown assailant had attacked Saif at his Bandra home around midnight. Saif was stabbed six times, with two deep wounds, including one near his spinal cord. A team led by neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange and cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain is conducting his surgery.
Incident Occurred in Children's Room
The incident reportedly took place in the room of Saif's children, Taimur and Jeh. The police are investigating how the attacker gained entry, considering whether they were already inside or came from outside.
According to Saif's PR, the nanny awoke around 2:30 AM upon hearing noises. Saif Ali Khan's entire family was asleep when he awoke to confront the attacker. Saif attempted to restrain the intruder, leading to multiple strikes before the assailant fled.
