Indian cricket player Rinku Singh has left the Team India camp due to a family emergency and returned home. Reports suggest his father's health deteriorated suddenly, leading to his admission in a local hospital in Greater Noida.

According to sources, Rinku Singh's father is currently on ventilator support, and doctors are continually monitoring his condition. Consequently, Rinku has returned home to be with his family.

Considering this situation, it appears unlikely that he will play in the next match against Zimbabwe. Team management will make a final decision on Rinku's availability, taking his family circumstances into account. Meanwhile, the Indian team and support staff are maintaining contact with Rinku Singh's family, and his priority currently lies with his father. Rinku Singh was part of the team in Chennai, but upon receiving news of his father's health, he promptly returned home.

Renowned for his role as a finisher for Team India, Rinku's performance in this World Cup hasn't lived up to expectations. In 5 matches, he has scored only 24 runs. His scores include 6 runs off 14 balls against America, 1 run off 6 balls against Namibia, an unbeaten 11 runs off 4 balls against Pakistan, and an unbeaten 6 runs off 3 balls against the Netherlands. Against South Africa, he went out for a duck in 2 balls. Thus, Rinku hasn’t showcased his former prowess with the bat this World Cup.
