If Jadeja scores another 58 runs this series, he will become the second player to score 1000 Test runs while batting at number 6 or lower in England.
So far, only West Indies' Gary Sobers has achieved this feat, accumulating 1097 runs in England batting at number 6 or below. In the current series, Jadeja has scored 327 runs in three matches with an average of 109. He stands alongside Sourav Ganguly and Rishabh Pant as the third Indian player to score fifty or more in four consecutive innings in England.
