On Friday, Punjab's Bathinda witnessed a horrific road accident. A private company's bus lost control and plunged into a drain, resulting in the tragic death of 8 people and leaving many passengers injured. In response to this calamity, the Prime Minister's Office declared that Rs. 200,000 from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund will be granted to the families of the deceased, and the injured will receive Rs. 50,000 as assistance.

In fact, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO India) posted on social media platform 'X' expressing grief over the deaths in the Bathinda bus accident. The post extended condolences to those who lost their loved ones and hoped for the quick recovery of the injured. Each bereaved family will be granted Rs. 200,000 from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund, while the injured will receive Rs. 50,000.

Similarly, President Droupadi Murmu shared on social media platform 'X' stating, 'I am deeply saddened by the news of multiple deaths in a bus accident in Bathinda, Punjab. I express profound condolences to each grieving family and pray for the quick recovery of everyone injured in this unfortunate incident.'
