The community was shaken by a sensational murder case of a SUBHASPA leader on Sunday. The female provincial secretary of the Suheldev Samaj Party was mercilessly stabbed by unknown attackers who subsequently fled the scene. News of the murder spread panic within the family. The crime took place in the vicinity of Khalilabad police station area, at Digha bypass.
Nandini Rajbhar was found in her home, lying bloodied on the floor beneath her bed, with a severe wound on her neck. As a senior member of the Suheldev Samaj Party for many years, she was a prominent worker serving as provincial secretary.
Neighbors suggest the attackers struck between three and four in the afternoon. After the murder, the body was left inside the house. Upon receiving the information, the police team and forensic experts arrived and took the body into custody.
Family members revealed Nandini had been receiving threats for some days and was under stress. However, who was behind these threats remained undisclosed. According to Nandini's mother-in-law, Arti Devi, she came home around 4 PM and found the door ajar. She entered, calling out for Nandini, but got no response. In Nandini's darkened room, she appeared to be asleep on the floor near the bed. After receiving no response, Arti approached and attempted to wake her, only to discover she had passed away.
