On Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Bharat Sevashram Sangh camp at Mahakumbh. He connected with the saints there and observed the altruistic service rendered by the organization during the Mahakumbh. CM Yogi lauded Bharat Sevashram's dedication to selfless service, highlighting its age-old tradition of generosity towards society.
He recalled that his mentor, Swami Avaidyanath, had spent valuable time engaged in social service alongside Swami Asimanand of Bharat Sevashram. While meeting the saints in Prayagraj, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that Sanatan Dharma is the religion of humanity. He affirmed that Sanatan Dharma would ensure the continuity of human religion and protect humanity itself.

The Chief Minister expressed his appreciation for the revered saints, who worked tirelessly with patience during the auspicious Mouni Amavasya. Although a tragedy unfolded, claiming the lives of some pious souls, the saints acted as guardians during that period. He compared the saints' role to that of a family patriarch, who provides support and resolves challenges during tumultuous times. The saints admirably fulfilled their roles, he remarked.

He acknowledged the saints' faithful execution of their responsibilities and highlighted their successful advancement of this grand initiative.

Criticizing the Adversaries
The Chief Minister also targeted the critics of Sanatan Dharma, highlighting the persistent conspiracies against it. He pointed out the visible behavior of these detractors during the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, which persists even today. Reflecting on the Mouni Amavasya incident, the Chief Minister stated that some elements are attempting to disrupt peace, tarnish Sanatan Dharma's image, and undermine the saints' resolve.

The Union's Establishment in 1917
Bharat Sevashram's saints share a profound bond with the sacred land of Sangam in Prayagraj. Swami Bhaskaranand, in charge of Bharat Sevashram at Mahakumbh, underscored that the Union is a dedicated force not only in religious and spiritual endeavors but also in humanitarian efforts like Narayan Seva. He shared that the Union was established in 1917 by Pandit Saint Acharya Swami Pranavananda Maharaj, who embraced renunciation at the banks of Sangam during the auspicious month of Magh.
