Sex Racket Uncovered in Azamgarh: Men and Women Found in Compromising Situations in Hotel Room

In Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, police cracked down on a sex racket, arresting the hotel owner and four men and women.

In the late-night crackdown, the police raided Radha Restaurant at Captain Ganj, Azamgarh, just a short distance from the market. This action was based on a complaint filed by an anonymous person on the IGRA Portal. Following the complaint, police from four stations conducted a simultaneous raid and exposed a thriving sex racket that had been operating behind the facade of the restaurant for quite some time.

During the raid, four couples were found in different compromising circumstances. Additionally, objectionable materials were seized from their possession and the hotel. Several luxury vehicles, mobile phones, and identity cards were also confiscated.

Hotel Owner Among Those Arrested

Revealing the details of the operation, SP Rural Chirag Jain stated that the raid was conducted based on the complaint received on IGRA, leading to the arrest of four women and four men involved in prostitution. Objectionable materials were also retrieved from the arrested individuals. The hotel owner, involved in this unethical activity, has been arrested as well.

Currently, a case has been registered against all the apprehended individuals, and further legal proceedings are underway. The police confirmed that the restaurant had been a hub for this illegal activity for quite some time, with multiple complaints previously lodged against it.
