The Noida Police continues an unyielding push against scrap mafia ringleader Ravi Kana. In a major crackdown, they have seized the opulent Delhi property of his business ally Kajal Jha. Located in New Friends Colony, the mansion is said to be valued close to $10.7 million, with Jha serving as a director of Kana’s scrap empire.

It's worth mentioning that Ravi Kana is currently a fugitive, evading arrest in a grave gangrape case. He’s facing mounting difficulties; previously, Noida Police booked his wife and 16 accomplices under gangster charges. Now, the law enforcement delivered a significant financial blow by confiscating properties tallying an estimated $13 million.

Demonstrating their resolve, police from the Beta 2 and Ecotech 1 stations jointly raided Kana’s New Friends Colony mansion, placing it under seizure. His factory, storage facilities, and various vehicles laden with scrap material have already been frozen.

Case of gangrape filed on December 30

Last December 30, a young woman filed a gangrape case against Ravi Kana and four others. The police swiftly reacted, detaining three suspects. However, Kana and two others are still at large. Following this, police initiated proceedings under gangster laws at the Beta 2 station against Kana, his wife, and their gang.

Police raids target multiple hideouts

Continuing the pursuit, both Beta 2 and Ecotech 1 station police teams have carried out raids across Kana’s various hideouts, seizing assets worth millions. Police also sealed land valued at $4 million alongside scrap materials in Ecotech 1 area, in addition to a vast plot of land in the Cherry County area of Bisrakh. Moreover, enforcement action has been taken against 20 empty trucks and two trucks loaded with scrap, collectively valued at $670,000.

Additionally, 200 tons of scrap and steel rods valued at $13,400 have been intercepted, and 60 large vehicles have been impounded. For now, the police are intensifying their efforts to arrest Ravi Kana. Their stance is firm; properties illicitly amassed by Kana are under scrutiny, and verification processes are underway. The police promise to continue their relentless operation.
