Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day tour of three states starting Friday, focusing on unveiling development projects across Bihar and Odisha, alongside leading a mass yoga session on International Yoga Day. According to official statements, the itinerary includes a visit to Siwan in Bihar and Bhubaneswar in Odisha, where he will address public gatherings.
With a transformative agenda, Prime Minister Modi will announce development initiatives in housing, electricity, railways, and more totaling ₹10,000 crore. In Siwan, he will launch the Vaishali-Deoria railway line project, which comes at a substantial investment of over ₹400 crore, introducing a new train service on this line. Enhancing connectivity in North Bihar, the Vande Bharat Express service will be flagged off, linking Patliputra with Gorakhpur through Muzaffarpur and Bettiah.
In support of the 'Make in India, Make for the World' initiative, Modi will oversee the dispatch of an advanced locomotive built at the Marhaura plant to the Republic of Guinea, marking the plant’s first export milestone.
