In the midst of the ongoing conflict with Israel, three Iranian aircraft have set course for Muscat, Oman. It’s speculated that Iran might be utilizing Oman as a channel for secret diplomacy with Israel. Previously, on Wednesday, three government planes from Iran also landed in Oman.
Recent reports reveal that on Friday, two Boeing 737s from Saha Airlines and an Airbus A320 from Meraj Air took off from Iranian airspace and headed to Muscat, Oman.
On Wednesday, the three planes that reached Oman included the main presidential aircraft and two other governmental planes from Iran, featuring two Airbus A321s and an Airbus A340.
Although no official statement has been released regarding these flights, speculation has arisen that Iran might be using Oman to initiate peace talks. Others suggest that the Iranian leadership might be considering departure.

The timing of these flights coincides with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi's scheduled high-level meeting with EU leaders in Geneva on Friday.
Oman has maintained a neutral role in regional conflicts, leading to beliefs that it could mediate peace discussions between Israel and Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that as long as Israeli strikes continue, negotiations will not proceed.
He asserted, 'We are not ready for talks with any party as long as Israeli strikes continue.' Araghchi also refuted claims of contact with the U.S., stating that all reports of U.S. negotiations are fabricated.
