On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi captivated the audience with a stirring speech at an election rally in Saharanpur. With the first phase of Lok Sabha elections set for 19 April in Saharanpur, the BJP has fielded former MP Raghav Lakhanpal, while Majid Ali represents the BSP and Imran Masood fights as a joint candidate for the SP-Congress alliance. Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Jayant Chaudhary were also present.

PM Modi assured, 'Friends, I visited Saharanpur for an election rally a decade ago. I promised I won’t let the country down. With your blessings, I transformed every circumstance and turned despair into hope. You didn't lessen your support, and Modi didn't scale back his efforts. Back then, the Congress government had tarnished India's image as corrupt and weak. Now, with the power of your vote, the country resonates with prestige worldwide.'

A Re-release of a 'Failed Film' by Two Lads

Modi further states, 'The Congress situation is more bizarre; they are struggling to find candidates. Even in their supposed strongholds, Congress lacks the courage to field candidates. The INDI alliance signifies instability and uncertainty; the nation is not taking them seriously. You recall in UP, the movie featuring two lads that flopped last time has been re-released. I don't comprehend why the INDI alliance keeps rehearsing this futile exercise.'

The Congress Manifesto Reflects Muslim League's Legacy

Modi commented on the Congress saying, 'The Congress that fought for independence had vanished decades ago. Now, what remains neither has policies for national interest nor a vision for nation-building. The recently released manifesto proves that today's Congress is completely disconnected from India's aspirations. The manifesto echoes the ideology that prevailed in the Muslim League during the freedom movement. The remnants of Congress are overshadowed by left-wing dominance, barely visible at all.'

'INDI Alliance Challenging the Power'

He continued, 'Therefore, from every corner of India, a unified voice emerges. Women and the elderly from villages and cities chant - 'Once more, a Modi government.' The 2024 election isn't just about forming a government; it's about creating a developed India. Referring to opposition without naming, PM said, 'Our place worships Mother Power, it's part of our spiritual journey. We don't deny strength worship. But it's unfortunate that the INDI alliance declares war against power. History and mythologies record the downfall of those who attempted to destroy power.'

'BJP Follows National Policy, Not Party Politics'

On BJP's founding day, Modi expressed, 'In few decades, BJP connected with record numbers of countrymen. BJP has won trust and hearts. It prioritizes national policy over politics. BJP is nation-first, not just a slogan but our creed. Where Congress failed over decades, BJP has achieved in 10 years. Thus, the nation proclaims—on 4th June, surpassing 400 seats!'

'INDI Alliance for Commission, NDA for Mission'

Modi criticized Congress's rule focusing on commissions while highlighting that the 'INDI alliance is for commission, whereas NDA, Modi's government, is for a mission.' Reiterating that the creation of Ayodhya's grand temple was not a political promise but a mission. 'This Ram Navami, Lord Ram won't be under a tent but in his grand temple. Strengthening India is BJP’s commitment. With a true intent, results follow. BJP alleviates citizen distress and creates new opportunities.'

'Be it Yogi or Modi... We say - Local for Vocal'

Modi recognized Saharanpur's woodwork and skill, emphasizing 'Vocal for Local.' He mentioned, 'This region also stands out for agricultural produce. Over the past decade, our government has been diligently working for our farmer brothers. We are sensitive to even their smallest needs. The PM Kisan Nidhi aids small farmers, with over 3 lakh in Saharanpur receiving Rs. 860 crores directly.'

Every Hour SP Changing Its Candidates

PM Modi reported, 'Internationally, a urea bag costs up to 3,000 rupees; here, farmers get it for less than 300 rupees. We're committed to developing India while our opponents yearn for power. This is the first election I see where the opposition isn't claiming victory but competing only to reduce BJP and NDA seats below 370 and 400, respectively. The situation of SP is such that they need to change candidates every hour.'
