In Brasilia, PM Modi will hold bilateral discussions with President Lula, aiming to enhance the strategic partnership between India and Brazil. The Indian community in Brazil eagerly anticipates PM Modi's arrival, expressing it as a great honor to host him. According to a news agency, Vijay Solanki, a member of the Indian diaspora, stated, 'I am from Gujarat and have been residing in Brazil for a long time. We are very excited and feel privileged and honored to welcome our Prime Minister.'

Previous Visits Before Brazil

Before Brazil, Prime Minister Modi visited Ghana from July 2-3 at President John Dramani Mahama's invitation, where he addressed the nation’s parliament. From July 3-4, he traveled to Trinidad and Tobago, meeting with President Christine Carla Kangaloo and Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

Subsequently, the PM visited Argentina, marking the first bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister in 57 years, which has propelled Indo-Argentine relations to new heights. Following Brazil, Prime Minister Modi will head to Namibia on July 9 to address their parliament as part of his eight-day, five-country tour, which will conclude on July 9.
