Uddhav Thackeray speech during Marathi rally:
Today (Friday) marks a significant day for Maharashtra's politics as Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) held a joint rally at Mumbai’s NSCI Dome in Worli. Named 'Marathi Victory Rally', it witnessed Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray together on stage after nearly 20 years. This historic union is sparking predictions of major shifts in Maharashtra's political landscape.
During the rally, Uddhav expressed, 'Raj Thackeray and I have come together to remain united. Our unity is vital. Some people have closed the gaps between us. The disrespect to the Marathi language will not be tolerated.'
He further stated, 'These people use a “use and discard” policy. Now, it's our turn to uproot them. People are curious about schools these leaders attended. Which school did Prime Minister Narendra Modi attend? Hindutva isn't exclusive to anyone. We don't need lessons on being devoted Hindus.'
Uddhav recounted, 'In 1992, when violence erupted in Mumbai, Marathi folks saved Hindu lives. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis warns against hooliganism. If he displays hooliganism over language, we'll respond equally.'

He questioned, 'Do they ask if we're not Marathi? Do we need a blood test to prove it now? We fought for Mumbai, while politicians then opposed Marathi presence in Maharashtra. Today, Modi’s central government pushes 'Hindi, Hindu, Hindustan.' We accept Hindu and Hindustan but not Hindi. Forcing Hindi on us won't be tolerated. Even if it takes seven generations, we'll resist this imposition.
Most of Mumbai's Land Lost to Adani: Uddhav
Uddhav lamented, 'It's shameful that most of Mumbai's land is now with Adani. We couldn't protect the land for which our martyrs shed blood.'
