A heated atmosphere emerged in Parliament on Thursday due to an alleged scuffle. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi was accused of pushing BJP MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi to the ground. However, Rahul explained that we were blocked from entering, and pushing ensued.
Rahul Gandhi clarified that we were attempting to enter Parliament through the Makar Gate. BJP members were stationed there, preventing entry. A scuffle ensued, leading to people falling. They are attacking the Constitution and disrespecting Ambedkar. The main issue is their assault on the Constitution.
‘Even Kharge Ji was Pushed’
Rahul accused BJP MPs of blocking entry at the gate. Rahul claimed they were pushing and threatening us. We stood on the stairs, he affirmed. Everything is captured on camera. Kharge Ji was also pushed. However, pushing won’t deter us. BJP MPs cannot stop us from entering Parliament.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi alleged Rahul Gandhi pushed an MP, causing him to fall on Sarangi and injure his head. Sarangi was taken to the hospital, and BJP leaders visited him to check on his condition.
Wayanad MP and Rahul Gandhi's sister, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, said there was pushing involving Kharge. It’s all recorded on camera.

Today, India Block MPs are conducting a protest march in Parliament. Two days ago, Home Minister Amit Shah made a statement about B.R. Ambedkar in the Rajya Sabha, sparking the opposition's accusations of disrespect towards Ambedkar. They demand Shah's resignation and apology. On Thursday, India Block leaders initiated a march in the Parliament premises, marching from Ambedkar’s statue to Makar Gate.
