During Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army taught Pakistan a tough lesson. Initially, India destroyed nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and POK through military actions and later responded to Pakistani attacks by damaging 11 of their military installations. Pakistan completely surrendered to India's air defense and military might, leaving them seeking help from America for arms.
Confession of Pakistani Minister
A 13-member Pakistani delegation openly demanded advanced American weapons in Washington. Pakistan's central Minister, Musadik Malik, pleaded with the US to sell them air defense systems and fighter jets. This admission by Pakistan contradicts the Shahbaz government's false claim to its people that it had a military edge over India.
In a viral social media video, Minister Malik stated, 'India came with 80 planes carrying 400 missiles, some capable of carrying nuclear weapons. You saw what happened to us. Without air defense systems, we would have been crushed. The technology used by India was very advanced. Thus, we say, give us that technology; we will buy it from you.'
Shahbaz's Claims Debunked
Malik is part of a team led by Pakistan People's Party President and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, currently in Washington for discussions with US officials and lawmakers. In mimicking India, Pakistan sent a delegation under Bhutto for a foreign tour.
Contrary to Malik's plea, this statement is against Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's domestic claims. While Malik begged for help, the Sharif government portrayed the recent conflict with India as a Pakistani victory, claiming India was forced into a ceasefire and that Pakistan emerged triumphant. Islamabad not only boasted about its victory but also promoted Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir to the rank of Field Marshal for his leadership.
Pakistan Mirrors India
Shahbaz Sharif previously confirmed the Indian attacks on Pakistani soil during border tensions, including Rawalpindi. He acknowledged that India launched its BrahMos missile, targeting several provinces, including Rawalpindi's airport. In a separate speech in Islamabad, he mentioned that Indian missiles attacked the Noor Khan Airbase and other key locations.
This immediate appeal by the Pakistani team in Washington comes when India, responding to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, conducted military operations that obliterated terror bases in Pakistan. India sent a multi-party delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor to America to provide details on the Pahalgam attack and the subsequent Operation Sindoor.
Amid diplomatic pressure, Pakistan sent another delegation to Moscow, attempting to improve its position by visiting several countries as global scrutiny heightens. However, India has exposed Pakistan to the world, revealing the truth about the country that provides support to terrorism.
