A search operation is underway by security forces to apprehend the responsible terrorists.
Recently, a chilling video of the terror attack has surfaced, vividly showing the pandemonic atmosphere as the attackers struck. The footage purportedly captures the terrorists in action, underscoring the severity of the incident.
The video reveals the stunning scenery of Kashmir, now overshadowed by the haunting cries of panic-stricken people. As the terrorists commenced their attack, individuals frantically fled for their lives.
In the recording, the fear-stricken voice of the person holding the camera can be heard, urging viewers to witness the chaos. The reverberating sound of an explosion fills the air, accompanied by widespread screams and frantic movements of people attempting to escape. The devastation of the scene is hard to convey in words, but the video offers a glimpse into the terror etched into the minds of those present.
Eyewitnesses, speaking with Aaj Tak, relayed disturbing and terrifying testimonies of the attack's aftermath.
'Terrorists in Police Uniform...'
During the Pahalgam attack, the terrorists donned fake uniforms, initially fooling tourists. Shortly after, however, they began asking Hindu tourists about their identity before shooting, causing mayhem. The terrorists deliberately aimed at Hindu men accompanied by their families. The videos and pictures of this attack are harrowing, showing distraught and weeping women whose husbands were targeted.
Asavari, a tourist from Pune, Maharashtra, who visited Pahalgam, shared her account with Aaj Tak. She recounted, 'The terrorists wore local police uniforms and masks. They specifically targeted men and coerced Hindus into reciting the Kalma. Those who couldn't were shot.'

Witnesses reported the terrorists targeting Hindus, demanding they recite the Kalma before shooting indiscriminately. This tragic event took place in an area dubbed 'Mini Switzerland,' a favored tourist spot renowned for its open mountainous fields and breathtaking valley views, now marred by bloodshed that Tuesday.
'Our Religion is in Danger...'
A victim shared, 'The terrorists threatened us, blaming us for supporting Modi, claiming our actions endangered their religion.' Over 50 people were at the scene, and post-attack, the army and some local folks helped rescue and transport the injured to safety. Though many were saved, news of the well-being of some, like his father and uncle, remains unknown.
Witnesses recounted that a newlywed couple was also targeted. They witnessed a bride, whose husband was shot, along with a young girl present during the attack.
