SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav voiced opposition, asserting this bill contravenes the Constitution. Additionally, Akhilesh Yadav penned a detailed post critiquing the proposal.

Moreover, Tamil Nadu CM Stalin, Mamata Banerjee, and JMM, along with various other parties, voiced robust resistance to the bill.
