The brand behind Nokia smartphones, Human Mobile Devices (HMD), has launched a unique mobile phone that stands out with its unique color theme and transparent design, dubbed The Boring Phone – a 4G feature phone.
In collaboration with Heineken and Bodega, HMD has crafted this mobile device. It boasts a transparent body design, allowing a glimpse into the hardware within. It's a flip phone, reminiscent of the old feature phones from Nokia and Motorola, conjuring a sense of nostalgia for the retro era.
HMD believes that GenZ users (born post-1990 and before 2010), keen to reduce their screen time and enhance their mental wellness, will find The Boring Phone a beneficial choice. It includes dual screens and a single camera sensor.
The Boring Phone sports a 2.8 Inch QVGA display, and an additional 1.77 Inch display on the outside. Its transparent design is quite alluring. The company claims that once fully charged, the phone provides 20 hours of talk time backup.
With a 0.3MP rear camera, The Boring Phone is not just a 4G mobile but can also be connected to 2G and 3G networks. It features a green color theme and utilizes a green keypad which gives a fresh look to the design.
