In line with this, he is now aiming to become a Rajya Sabha member in the upcoming elections.

In the context of elections for Bihar's five Rajya Sabha seats, BJP has nominated Nitin Naveen and Shivesh Ram for the upper house, while JDU stalwarts Nitish Kumar and Ramnath Thakur are set to file nominations from their quota.
He expressed heartfelt reassurance, vowing that his relationship with the people will perpetually remain, nurturing a prosperous Bihar alongside them—a commitment that will persist through the guidance and support of future governments.
