Kia Seltos Launch Price & Features:
About six years back, South Korean carmaker KIA made its entry into the Indian market with a sensational vehicle. Today, they've launched the second-generation model of this icon, the 'Kia Seltos'. The global debut took place during an event in Hyderabad, designed primarily with the Indian audience in mind.
While the prices for the new Seltos remain under wraps, Kia India's Vice President (Sales and Marketing), Atul Sood, announced that bookings will commence at midnight on December 11. Interested customers can reserve this SUV with a token amount of ₹25,000. The pricing will be disclosed on January 2, 2026, with deliveries starting in the second week of the month.

The new Kia Seltos promises to be larger, bolder, and more spacious. The modernized design flaunts a digital tiger face, a black high-gloss grille, dynamic welcome function ice cube LED projection headlamps, starmap LED daytime running lights, and connected taillamps. The new alloy wheel design further enhances its side profile.
Sporting an 18-inch crystal-cut alloy wheel, the Seltos takes a leap in automotive design with automatic streamline door handles—a segment first. Gunmetal finish skid plates at the front and rear bolster its sporty appeal, and customers can choose from 10 single-tone color options, including the new morning haze and magma red.
Kia has made a significant leap in the Seltos's dimensions. At 4,460 mm in length, it stands as the longest SUV in its segment, exceeding the previous model by 95 mm. Its width has increased by 30 mm to 1,830 mm. To offer greater cabin space, the wheelbase has been extended by 80 mm to a total of 2,690 mm.

Kia India describes the cabin as ultra-modern and technically advanced. Featuring a smokey black and white two-tone interior, it presents white elements with sophistication. The leatherette seats might bring to mind the recently unveiled Kia Seltos model.
Upon entering, the 30-inch trinity panoramic display panel immediately draws focus, moving with the trend of large touchscreen displays. This substantial screen incorporates driver information display, infotainment system, and temperature control functionalities, inspired by Kia's global flagship model, the Kia EV9.

The new Seltos offers three engine choices—two petrol engines and a diesel engine. These include a 1.5-liter Smartstream petrol engine (115 PS power and 144 Nm torque), a 1.5-liter T-GDI engine (160 PS power and 253 Nm torque), and a 1.5-liter VGT diesel engine (116 PS power and 220 Nm torque).
Atul Sood of Kia noted, "Kia has always prioritized safety. The new Kia Seltos, based on the global K3 platform, utilizes high-strength steel and premium components that deliver exceptional crash protection in emergencies."
