Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, is witnessing massive protests today. Thousands of Gen-Z boys and girls have taken to the streets, raising their voices against the social media ban. In response, a curfew has been imposed in Kathmandu.

Across various cities, a Gen-Z revolution against Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli's government has sparked. During this time, protesters intruded into the Parliament building. To control the situation, police resorted to tear gas. The nation's new generation is protesting against everything from the government's social media ban to corruption.

These protests see thousands of young people loudly voicing their dissent against the government. During the protest, the government disrupted phone and internet services for hours.

The youth, angered by the government's ban on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and YouTube among 26 social media accounts, have initiated the Gen-Z Revolution since September 8.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister K.P. Oli's government imposed bans on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, Reddit, and X among 26 social media apps on September 4.
