Ariba Khan, from Hardoi, made a statement about the incident at the CNG-petrol pump where she pulled out her father's licensed revolver and pointed it at a pump worker. She explained that the worker misbehaved with her father and pushed him, which enraged her enough to draw the weapon. While Ariba admitted her mistake, she felt she had no other option at the moment.
In Ariba Khan's words: I am preparing for the NEET exam. I have taken the exam and am educated, not insane to point a pistol at someone casually. The petrol pump attendant was misbehaving with my father, speaking rudely, and wanted to harm him. In self-defense, I did what I felt was necessary. It calmed them down. However, I shouldn't have taken the law into my hands, and I should have found another solution.
Ariba is the daughter of Ehsan Khan. On June 15, Ehsan stopped with his family to refuel their car at the CNG-petrol pump. There, an argument broke out with the pump staff. Ariba ran to the car, got a revolver, and pointed it at the worker Rajneesh Kumar. The entire incident was captured on nearby CCTV cameras.
Following a complaint from the worker, police registered a case against Ehsan Khan and his family under the Arms Act and confiscated the revolver. Ariba Khan is named in the case. The Hardoi administration has issued a notice canceling the revolver's license.

Today, June 17, Ehsan Khan and Ariba, while speaking to 'Aaj Tak' in Kanpur, explained that when they went to refuel, they had stepped out of their car. After paying, the attendant started arguing. During the debate, other workers gathered and acted rudely.
According to Ariba, they pushed her father Ehsan Khan, and were eager to assault him. That compelled her to pull out the revolver, which subsequently calmed the situation. The police are now investigating. We will face the legal proceedings, but the misbehavior by the petrol pump workers should also be reviewed from the footage.
Today, Ariba was in Kanpur with her father, visiting her sister's house. Her brother-in-law is in the army there. Ariba stated, 'I gave the NEET exam. I am receiving my education in Delhi. My intentions were not malicious. Those people surrounded my father. I was the one who informed the police. They came and rescued us. We will now face the law, although it was wrong, yet I had to do it out of necessity.'
